Whilst many studio based photographers offer traditional family ‘posed’ style photography I believe I offer something a little different. My style of portrait photography results in more relaxed, natural portraits that reflect the true character of the subject resulting in true lifestyle portraits.

The portraits are taken on location and not in a studio. This location can be your home or other favourite places such as a play-area, a park or somewhere that is special and familiar to you, or your child. The session will take place using natural daylight, which provides more flattering and believable images that just cannot be achieved in a studio. The key is to find a location that you or your child feel relaxed and comfortable in, resulting in the session being enjoyed as much as possible.

I prefer my portraits to have a documentary feel to them and posing will be kept to a minimum in an attempt to create images that are honest, capturing who you are as well as what you look like.

The session will last anywhere between 1 and 2 hours depending on a number of factors and I will always be flexible regarding re-booking the shoot should things outside of our control happen.
